Configuring Cloudflare to Serve Your Website Securely With Cloudflare Origin SSL NGINX

You can configure Cloudflare to serve your website securely with Cloudflare Origin SSL NGINX. This will help to protect your visitors' data from unwanted third parties. Once you install Cloudflare, you need to download and install your origin certificate. To do this, navigate to the SSL/TLS menu and choose the Origin server. Click on the Create certificate button to generate a key. You must have both files on your server.

You can also install the Cloudflare CLI for linux to easily manage your SSL certificate. For Linux, you can install the script by executing the Cloudflare CLI. The script will help you manage Cloudflare's IP range list and automatically update SSL protocols when your website goes live. You can also check your existing Cloudflare Origin SSL NGINX configuration for missing fields and an include file. To enhance your security and speed, consider installing a Cloudflare DNS server.

To enable Cloudflare Origin SSL, you will need to install the Origin CA certificate on your origin web server. Then, you must update your SSL/TLS certificate and enable the Full (strict) encryption mode. In order to use SSL/TLS encryption, you can also enable Page Rules for NGINX and Apache Tomcat. After you install Cloudflare Origin SSL on your website, you can monitor the progress of SSL/TLS in a real-time dashboard.
